This route has a lot of paved roads for a gravel ride, but the views from the gravel are beautiful. I would say that the road/gravel split is about 50/50. Despite this, I highly recommend.

This is a lovely route with a lot of tarmac. The gravel/single track that exists is first rate. For the most part this route is quite easy and fun. The beginning goes through heavily traveled gravel by Green River. There is an epic climb in the middle that is preceded by somewhat technical (for gravel bikes) single track. The last 16 miles are long stretches of downhill gravel and miles of tarmac through beautiful northern MA. Overall a nice ride.
