Two miles up the climb up the Black Canyon National Park (CO 347) you will see this dirt road on the left. Ridden this direction it is mostly downhill through farms and ranches (watch for dogs) with open vistas and views of the San Juan mtns to the South. It then descends more steeply through adobe hills until it meets the paved Landfill Rd which takes you back to Montrose. Ridden the other direction from Landfill Rd it gives you a steep climb. The adobe side is impassable when wet! Suitable for gravel bikes.
